The two newest families of the Alphacool NexXxoS series of radiators are the NexXxoS HPE-45 and NexXxoS HPE-30, both available in 120, 140, 240, 280, 360, 420, and 480 mm sizes.  The differences between the HPE-45 and HPE-30 are the thickness of the radiator and the density of the fins, one being 45mm thick with 16 FPI while the other is a surprising 30mm thick with 18 FPI.  All the radiators are built with a copper core, steel frame, and brass threads with five BSP G1/4″ threaded ports. These new Alphacool NexXxoS HPE radiators have been designed to be easily installed by even the newest to water cooling.  The shields covering the screws help prevent mishaps and the kits ship with a large assortment of screws so you should be able to mount it without needing to find an odd screw or three.  The two models that TechPowerUp tested performed well and would be a good choice for a small system which won’t be overclocked, though with the right setup the larger models should be up to that task.

The problem is the price, the Alphacool NexXxoS HPE series are fairly expensive compared to the competition right now.   That will change over time, but for now you should price them out before falling in love with one.
